We move people away from screens and back into challenging, real-life activities. Read more...
It's all about the user. You know intuitively what makes sense. Friction is your enemy.

DoCurious is looking for people to do what many people say is impossible: get people away from their screens.  But we're not asking anyone to give up their screens entirely - we just want to borrow them for a while.  If we do our job right, when they get back to social media most of their posts will be about what a great experience they had with us and our business partners.  Our users are called "Doers".  Our mission is to engage people who have never done anything challenging in the "real world" before, and those who have.  We need to deliver the correct interface to the correct group, causing them to give us a try and then keep coming back again and again.  Every age group will require a different approach, and we'll be targeting kids, parents, pre-teens, teens, college students and beyond, all the way to (and probably past) retirement age.  The younger we snag them as customers, the more good we can do over their lifetimes.  We want to work with them for the rest of their lives.  Our product should reflect that.  And we'll want it to work beautifully on both phones and tablet/computer screens.

We're looking for a User Experience Expert who is as comfortable designing an interface that works for kids, adults, and parents as designing one for businesses to use.  Plus, we'll be adding on a wide variety of other capabilities - from social media to meeting place and memory repository.  We want people to be as comfortable on our website and apps as they would be at home or by a campfire.  The experience has to be positive, upbeat, and timeless.

Naturally this is a lot to ask, but we're designing our company and its products to be relevant and useful for generations to come.  You'll be starting the creative process for those who follow in your footsteps.  And people should look at your work and say: "We're glad to be back!  Now let's me find something to do together in real-life..."

Please take a look at the problem we're trying to solve, our mission, and our solution.  If it's a good fit for the way you want to build, continue or finish your career, apply today!  Let's see if we're a fit.  And let's get doing.
