Qualifications:

•We are looking for an individual who is passionate about software engineering and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality products
•The ideal candidate will be a divergent thinker who is familiar with industry best practices and possesses expertise in multiple coding languages
•You must be able to communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders, be a strong team player, and possess exceptional analytical and technical skills
•At least 2 years of professional experience in back-end software engineering – A must
•Proficiency with server-side framework Python (Django and/or FastAPI) - A must
•Experience with server-side logic and database management
•Thorough understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) and backend technologies – A must
•Strong knowledge of version control (i.e. git) - A must
•Expertise in building and using RESTful APIs - A must
•Familiarity with database technology such as Postgres and Redis – A must
•Amazon and Uber Web Services (AWS) infrastructure knowledge - advantage
•Strong experience working with Docker and Kubernetes - advantage
•Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application - advantage
•Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ - an advantage
•Strong organizational and project management skills
•Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal
