Recently re-located back to Michigan, specializing in UX/UI Design. My passion is creating digital experiences that make the web a more enjoyable, user friendly and prettier place to be.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University. In 2005 while studying abroad in Rome I attended the
Cannes Advertising Festival as a student ambassador. In 2006, I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to return to Cannes Festival, but this time to study at the Roger Hatchuel Academy for Young Creatives. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I was fortunate to experience-twice.
From there I traveled on to Miami Ad School in Minneapolis to get certified in Art Direction. This is where I received the best (and hardest) lessons from internships and teachers from all around the world. I experienced 3 incredible agencies within one year; McGarry Bowen NYC, DDB Chicago and Jung Von Matt in Hamburg, Germany.
I spent the start of my career in New York and spent a little time in Florida before moving back to Michigan with my dog, Koda. We’ve picked up a lot of skills along the way, from how to navigate NYC to beekeeping hundreds of tiny bees. It’s been a heck of a ride - and we’re just getting started.
Koda and I are now in Detroit. We have learned that we prefer snow to hurricanes. In our spare time we’re renovating my great-grandparents home from the 1950’s and we couldn’t be happier to be here.
