Chief Financial Officer - Gusher Richard Furlin is a financial professional that has been emersed in entrepreneurship throughout his career. For the last 13 years, he worked as an investment banker helping emerging companies of all industries raise capital. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of Best Independent Research, where he launched the world’s first multi-manager quant strategy ETF. His experience includes 6-years of financial budgeting, planning, analysis, and corporate development at Standard & Poor’s / McGraw-Hill. At Standard & Poor’s, Mr. Furlin also created a television show on business startups, which led to the 10-year run of Business Week Television. For 3-years, he was the right hand to the CFO of a billion-dollar private consumer products company. He is experienced with public and private corporate reporting needs. Richard has earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. He received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College, which is perennially ranked at the #1 entrepreneurial school.
