We've all gone into stores and got indifferent customer service - part of the reason is because store associates are not measured, and as a result, cannot be held accountable for acting in ways that please their customers. When shoppers receive bad customer service, 2/3's of them leave the store empty handed; half of them never return!

Today retailers use 2 methods to measure how customers perceive service levels: 

1) Customer Satisfaction surveys. They are too long, not real time, have very low participation and are focused on marketing issues

2) Mystery shoppers. Not scalable. Not real time. Expensive.

RaterBee is the 1st real time, in-store customer feedback platform that lets shoppers easily rate the store associates who helped them. Its like taking Uber driver ratings into brick & mortar stores to drive continuously great customer experiences.

The associate behavior data that we collect is a totally new data stream to help retailers provide great, brand defining customer service:

1) Help store associates get up to speed quicker and improve their performance

2) Help retail managers define the best practice behaviors to sell different kinds of merchandise at different store formats and different geographical markets

Compared to Customer Satisfaction surveys, RaterBee is real time, quick & easy and focuses improving team behaviors. Compared to Mystery Shopping, RaterBee generates a continuous stream of more actionable real-time feedback data at a lower cost.

The market in the US consists of 2.5M locations providing face-to-face services. We're starting in retail due to the founder's deep domain expertise.

Business Model

Its an enterprise SaaS model where we charge a monthly subscription fee per location.
