We’re building something the food system desperately needs: a performance drink made from real food, grown right. Oatra is the first sports drink powered by oats—slow-burning complex carbs, gut-healthy beta-glucans, and regenerative ingredients that actually do something for your body and the planet.
We’re looking for a brand-obsessed, storytelling-driven, scrappy-as-hell marketing leader to take the reins on everything from brand voice to trial-driving campaigns. If you know how to build emotional resonance, drive cultural relevance, and translate a messy mission into a clean hook that sells—this is your role.
You’re not just launching a beverage. You’re lighting a movement.
What You’ll Do:
* Own and evolve our core brand narrative—turn our why into a movement people want in on.
* Build and execute a lean, high-impact marketing plan across DTC, retail, and field.
* Partner with our creative director to develop killer content across every channel that matters (and ditch the ones that don’t).
* Lead customer acquisition through sampling, influencer programs, digital experiments, and retail activations.
* Vet and manage freelancers, agencies, and collab partners—no egos, just execution.
* Track what works. Ditch what doesn’t. Optimize for trial, repeat, and velocity.
* Lay the groundwork for growing the team as we scale from test markets to national distro.
Who You Are:
* You’ve built or scaled a CPG brand at the ground level—preferably in food/bev, wellness, or something with a cult following.
* You speak fluent DTC, earned media, and trade marketing—and know how to pull it all together under one brand system.
* You love regenerative ag, clean label, real food, and calling B.S. on greenwashing.
* You’ve worked with tight budgets, lean teams, and high expectations. You make dollars move like they’re hundreds.
* You live in culture—TikTok, retail shelf, or IRL community—and know how to meet people where they are.
* You’re hungry to build a brand that matters, not just one that sells.
